ROCHESTER - After an extended illness, Robert Wasson, 67, of Rochester, died quietly at home on Dec. 25 with his beloved wife at his side. As the son of Terry Irving and Patricia Louise (Wallace) Wasson, Bob was born on Nov. 27, 1955, in Chelsea, Mass.
Bob attended New Market High School before enlisting in the Army. Bob fought in the Vietnam War within his time in the service. After retiring from the service, Bob was employed for 35 years at Regal Tubing and Sleeving and 9 years at Walmart.
Bob cherished the time he spent with his family. When it came to his grandkids, he never failed to have a smile on his face. He also enjoyed going camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and going to the beach.
Bob was predeceased by both his parents. He is survived by his wife Brenda Wasson (Pointbriand). Bob and Brenda were together for 41 years and married for 25.
Together, they raised their children
Daughter, Christine Pilalas and her husband Marion of North Monmouth, Maine, along with their children Joshua Huntress and Jesse Pilalas.
Son, Wesley Huntress and his wife Leslie of Rochester along with their children Wesman (Wes) Huntress and his wife Courtney of Farmington, Michael Murphy of Rochester, Cam Huntress and his partner Dakota Ritter of Rochester.
Son Eugene Wasson of Hooksett.
Son Craig Huntress of North Carolina along with his children Abby, Lynnia, and Rowynn Stumpf and her husband Jim.
Son Eric Huntress and his partner Monica of Rochester and children Wyatt and Hannah Huntress and Reese Moreau-Ross
Son Rob Huntress and his wife Nichole of Middleton along with their son Ethan.
Brother Terry Wasson of Rochester.
Sister Susan Snow of California.
Bob had many nieces and nephews who he adored.
