ROCHESTER - Robert R. Forcier Sr. 85, of Rochester, died on Friday, March 15 at his home.

He was born on April 3, 1938, in Gonic to Willie and Rose (Hebert) Forcier.

Robert, or as most called him, Bob, was not one to let any moss grow under his feet, always keeping busy. Whether chopping wood, getting the camp ready for the many visits of family and friends to building his rock walls, his love of the outdoors was not lost to anyone that knew him. Bob worked for many years in the grocery business at Edward's Market, Columbia Market and S&S Supermarket as a store manager. Many in the community knew him well. His love for his family was his greatest passion and will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He also served his country as a member of the Army National Guard.

Survivors include his partner of over 30 years, Patti Narowski; daughter Linda (John) Gisis, sons Paul Forcier and Robert Forcier, Jr; grandchildren Stephanie (Mike) Gisis, Nicholas (Kelsie) Gisis; Todd (Cassie) Forcier, Shaunda (Wesley) Dionne; great grandchildren John, Benjamin, Miles, Luca, Jack, Cooper, and Madison; many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his son Donald Forcier and his ex-wife Hilda (Talon) Forcier.
