Robert Brendon Stewart ... enjoyed golfing; at 85

DOVER - Commander Robert Brendon Stewart, Supply Corps, USN (RET), a native of Scituate, Mass., and longtime resident of Portsmouth and Dover, died on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, at the age of 85.
After his naval career, Robert continued to serve his country and community with a career at BAE SYSTEMS as a Quality Manager. He also selflessly volunteered as a Pease Greeter, meeting troops deploying and returning from various combat missions in Southwest Asia. Robert was an avid golfer who loved to frequent a round at Pease Golf Club, and he enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. Commander Stewart was preceded in death by his parents John and Gertrude Stewart, and two brothers - John Stewart, Jr. and Walter Stewart. He is survived by: his wife of 62 years - Linda M. (Calderwood) Stewart; his sons - Stephen (Tamara) Stewart, and David (Jennifer) Stewart; his daughters - Kimberly (Brian) Warburton and Donna (Dale) Holland; his brother Brian (Joann) Stewart; his seven grandchildren; and his seven great-grandchildren.
