Residents escape, but two cats perish in Rochester mobile home fire

ROCHESTER - All residents escaped but two cats died in a fast-moving mobile home fire at Country Ridge Estates Tuesday morning.
The fire was called in around 8:20 a.m., drawing a mutual aid response that found the residence fully involved upon arrival.
Nine residents who lived in the mobile home all made it out, but two cats perished and two more were missing, according to reports.
Rochester firefighters were jointed by Dover, Somersworth, Strafford and Barrington fire departments.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined/

No smoke detectors were in the home.
