Renowned gospel star Brunt to play Lebanon church

LEBANON - The Lebanon North Berwick Baptist Church, Little River Road (2 Miles from Rte 202) Lebanon will host Scott Brunt in a concert and pot luck supper on Nov. 9. The supper will start at 5:15 and the concert will start at 6.

Brunt’s passion for singing and performing started at a very young age when he would sing a few songs with his father, Gary Brunt, during his concerts. As a teenager he learned percussion instruments and played with several worship teams.  He and his father formed a duet and traveled throughout New England and when his uncle joined them they formed “The Brunt Family Singers.”

Brunt has hosted the popular “Saturday Night Gospel Hour” on New Hampshire’s Gospel Radio WVNH 91.1 FM since 1999. He has also sung with “The Campbells” as their bass singer on a part-time basis.

He is known for his deep bass voice which stands out in a trio and quartet setting, as well as rich tenor in his solo work.
