Remains of missing woman found in Ossipee Lake

OSSIPEE - The body of a woman reported missing earlier this month was found in Ossipee Lake on Friday.

The remains of Sinead Lyons, 41, were found around 2 p.m. by personnel of the New Hampshire Fish and Game and identified by the state's medical examiner.

On March 14, 2021, the New Hampshire State Police received information from the Lowell (Mass.) Police Department regarding Lyon's disappearance.

A vehicle, which belonged to Lyons, was found in the area of Ossipee Lake.
