Reckless driving blamed in Rollinsford crash that killed 4, 3 from South Berwick

ROLLINSFORD - Four men died in a fiery two-car crash in Rollinsford on Sunday when one vehicle headed east on Route 4 and said to be driving recklessly crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle carrying four passengers, three of whom have succumbed to their injuries.
Rollinsford police and fire responded around 8:30 p.m. to the area of Toll Road where they learned that a Subaru Forester headed east veered into the opposite lane colliding with a Dodge Grand Caravan.
The lone adult male in the Subaru and an adult male passenger in the Dodge both died at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge and a second passenger were taken to Wentworth Douglass Hospital where they were pronounced dead soon after.
The three people in the Dodge who were killed have been identified as Peter Ronchi, 58, Gavin Sorge Jr., 22, and Sean Kamszik, 23, all of South Berwick, Maine.
The name of the driver of the Subaru was not released pending notification of family members.
Route 4 was closed for several hours while the scene was cleared and the accident was investigated.
