Rebecca Eddows ... enjoyed dancing, teaching; at 28

Born on April 15, 1994, Rebecca Jeanne Eddows, our precious daughter Becca, lost her very short but very valiant fight against cancer on Sept. 27, 2022; it was a mere 10 days since her diagnosis.

Becca was an amazing daughter, sister, friend, aunt, granddaughter, and niece. In the community, she was a true bright light. She taught preschool at Little Tree Education in Madbury. Her true passion was to teach, both toddlers and dance. Oh, how she loved to dance! Beginning at age 5 she started dancing at Northern Explosion Dance in Sanford, Maine, and has been teaching there since 2009. Her love of dance is so evident in her stage performance, never less than a huge smile and professional demeanor.

It is clear that she was well loved and thought highly of as evidenced by the outpouring of love and kindness that she and the family have experienced in these last weeks. There are so many expressions of love from her students, parents and colleagues. We are overwhelmed by the love.

She leaves behind her parents Mark and Darlene (Kennedy) Eddows, her sister Erica and husband Matthew Johnson, brother Corey and wife Adriana Eddows, her bonus sister and brother-in-law Nichole Rybicki and Cameron Hamer, her paternal grandmother Sandra Eddows-Gagliarde, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. She also leaves behind the loves of her life, her niece and nephews: Haley Eddows, Noah Johnson, Elijah Johnson and Channing Hamer.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Eugene and Audrey Kennedy, her paternal grandfathers Earl Eddows and Daniel Gagliarde, her aunt Donna Eddows and uncle Wayne Eddows.
