Racing hydroplanes return for Milton's Summer Kickoff

MILTON - Milton will hold its Summer Kickoff this Saturday and Sunday with boat racing, Farmer's Market vendors, a portable rock wall for climbing and a special dedication of a new fairy house built especially for Milton Town Beach.

The events begin at 9 a.m. both days.

The South Shore Outboard Speedboat "Milton Three Ponds Challenge" Competition highlights the weekend. Racing will take place from noon to 4 each day.

Other planned activities include a touch a truck, face painting and live entertainment.

A $5 donation per car is requested each day to help support the 2019 Milton Arts in the Park Summer Fest.
