MILTON - Rachel J Grenier, 91, died on Saturday June 15, 2024, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital following a sudden illness.

Born April 13, 1933, in Rochester, she was the daughter of Albert and Laurette (Maxfield) Charrette.

Rachel graduated from Holy Rosary High School in 1951. She is predeceased by her husband Arthur E. Grenier in 1984. Rachel had worked as a stockroom clerk at General Electric and retired in 1993.

In her younger years Rachel enjoyed taking bus trips and met many new people. She was always ready to share a smile and a chat. In her free time, she enjoyed bird watching, picking berries, working on puzzles, playing bingo and spending time at the Senior Center. She was a TOPS member for many years.

Members of her family include her children Ken Grenier and wife Dori of Rochester; Karen Grenier of Rochester, Donna Grenier of Milton, and Darcy Grenier of Fayetteville, Ark.; two grandchildren Nicolas and Kendra, and two great grandchildren Kael and Rhilyn, and her brother Donald Charrette of Lebanon, Maine.
