LEBANON - The public will get a chance to air their thoughts about the direction of Lebanon's first responders at a Selectmen's Informational Meeting on Saturday.
On the table will be everything from combining Lebanon Fire and Lebanon Rescue, hiring per diem, part-time or full-time personnel to cover Lebanon Rescue and possibly even the upper echelon command structure inside the two departments.
In an email bulletin the town sent to Lebanon residents this week it was noted that some of the options selectmen are now looking at could add significantly to the property tax burden, as much as $200 per year for a person owning a typical $200,000 home.
Selectmen are imploring residents to make their voices heard and attend the meeting, which will begin at 2 p.m. at the Lebanon Elementary School.
