Public gets their chance for input on proposed downtown zoning change

ROCHESTER - Rochester's City Council will conduct a public hearing on Oct. 18 on an amendment to Chapter 275 of the general ordinances of the city of Rochester regarding the location and boundaries of zoning districts in the downtown.

The public hearing is to take citizen input on whether to amend the Zoning Map to convert certain properties from Residential-2 to Downtown Commercial.

Copies of the proposed Resolution are available in the City Clerk's Office.

Citizens are invited to attend the public hearing and to ask questions or otherwise speak on the proposal, according to a press release from the city.

Persons with disabilities requesting accommodations should contact the City Clerk's Office, (tel. (603) 332-2130) on or before October 18, 2022, in order to make arrangements.
