MANCHESTER - Investigators are still trying to find out what caused the death of an adult woman and toddler in Manchester on Monday.
An autopsy was conducted on both victims, Mercedes Tremblay, 25, and two-year-old Mason Tremblay, who were both found deceased in an apartment at 1345 Bodwell Road.
The Medical Examiners Office found that Mercedes Tremblay died of a single gunshot wound to the head, while the manner of death is still undetermined. At this time, both the cause and manner of Mason Tremblay's death continue to be looked into.
Safety officials said based on the information to date, there is no evidence to suggest there is a threat to the general public. The investigation is active and ongoing and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
