Probe into city man's roadside death in Berwick continues; autopsy results withheld

BERWICK, Maine - State and Berwick Police remain tight-lipped about an ongoing investigation into the death of a Rochester man whose body was found along the side of a road in Berwick on Friday.
Kyle Lang, 26. of Rochester, N.H., was found dead face down in a ditch, according to a Friday release from Berwick Police, who continue their probe into whether Lang was struck by a motor vehicle while he was walking home.
An autopsy to determine the cause of death was performed on Saturday and released to Berwick Police, but not the public.
Berwick Police have not returned phone calls regarding the autopsy.
Lang's body was found around 11:45 a.m. on Friday in the area of 164 Rochester St. in Berwick.
He was last seen Thursday night around 10 p.m. before leaving the area of Jordan Street in Berwick to head back on foot to Rochester. Family members searched through the night before contacting Berwick Police early Friday morning.
Police later obtained information about a motor vehicle possibly involved in the incident. That vehicle was located in Rochester and was impounded by New Hampshire State Police.
