Presidential hopeful who left Democrat party to speak at Sig Sauer in Epping

EPPING -- Sig Sauer will host former Democratic congresswoman and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard on Sunday at the SIG Experience Center in Epping.

Gabbard will on hand to talk about her New York Times bestselling book For Love of Country, Leave the Democrat Party Behind at 1 p.m. as part of the SIG Experience Center inaugural speaker series.

The SIG Experience Center is located at 233 Exeter Road in Epping.

Gabbard left tghe Democrat party due to "growing wokeness and liberal policies" that "were more than she could stomach."

She is a four-term congresswoman and 2020 presidential candidate who was interviewed by The Rochester Voice during a campaign event at The Castle on Charles in November 2019.

Gabbard is a veteran with three deployments to war zones and has served in uniform for more than 21 years. She is currently a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Registration at sigsaueracademy.com is required to attend Gabbard's talk. Registration is not required for a meet-and-greet, where the line will open at 1:30 p.m.

The SIG Experience Center speaker series is hosted by Sig Sauer Academy. Gabbard kicks off the series, which will feature defense leaders, industry experts, and changemakers from a multitude of fields and disciplines on various subjects.
