ROCHESTER - The Utilities Division for the Department of Public Works will be temporarily turning off water on today between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., in the area of Summer Street (from Allen Street to Springfield Estates), Kimball Street (from Summer Street to Eastern Avenue), and from 10 Eastern Avenue to Fieldstone Lane.

During this time, residents will experience little or no water pressure.

As a result of this work, you may experience air or some discoloration in your water. This discoloration is from naturally occurring minerals that have precipitated in the water lines. If needed, please run a cold water tap for a short time to clear your water.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call Public Works at (603) 332-4096.
