Police, SWAT teams on scene of Somersworth standoff

SOMERSWORTH - Police and SWAT teams are on the scene of a standoff in Somersworth, according to a report from WMUR-TV.

Sections of Green Street between Indigo Hil and Stackpole roads have been blocked off since the start of the standoff around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday night.

Neighbors reported hearing several loud explosions overnight, WMUR reported.

A K-9 unit and explosives robot have also been spotted near the scene.
