ROCHESTER – Rochester Police have released photographs obtained from a surveillance camera at Federal Savings Bank that show a man suspected in the Dos Amigo robbery on Wakefield Street Sunday around 6 p.m.
Police say soon after the bank surveillance photos were taken the suspect walked into Dos Amigos, told a worker it was a robbery and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber made a gesture that led workers to believe he was armed, but no weapon was ever shown, police said.
The robber fled on foot, and a K9 track proved unsuccessful.
The suspect is described as white, about 5-11 with brown hair, scruffy facial hair, about 18-25 years old and wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans and sunglasses.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call the Rochester Police Department.
