CONCORD - The state Attorney General's Office announced today that an investigation is under way into a fire and suspicious death of an adult female on Mt. Pleasant Street in Derry.
An adult male was transported from the scene and is being treated at a Boston hospital.
Based on facts known at this time, the AG's office says there is no evidence to suggest a threat to the general public.
