ROCHESTER - Police are investigating a couple of burglaries of storage units within the Spaulding Industrial Complex on Spaulding Avenue that were reported on Saturday.
The storage units are located behind the main factory building that is next to the street.
Rochester Police Capt. Jason Thomas said two storage units were burglarized of various personal items.
Thomas said there is no evidence to suggest these two burglaries are connected to last week's pair of burglaries of welding/torching tools from two separate Milton Road area businesses.
Those incidents occurred on Wednesday on Northcoast Drive where police say an air compressor, a dolly holding a large torch/welding cylinder tank, space heater and generator were stolen; and Feb. 16 when a Lincoln Pro Cut Plasma Cutter, Lincoln Welder, commercial spray painting guns and other tools were stolen from a business on Old Milton Road.
Due to the close proximity of the first two burglaries and the types of items stolen, it was believed those two incidents could be related, police said at the time.
