MANCHESTER - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Tuesday in Manchester.
Police responded to the Rite Aid parking lot located near 1631 Elm St. where they found an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, according to a press release sent early today. That male was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The parties involved in the incident have been identified, and based on the information known at this time, there is no known danger to the public. Police and investigators from the Attorney Generals Office are seeking to determine whether the person who shot the individual acted in self-defense.
