Pedestrian killed on F.E. Everett Turnpike identified as Nashua man

NASHUA - A pedestrian fatally struck on the F.E. Everett Turnpike on Friday has been identified as a Nashua man.

The accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. prompting a response from police and rescue who found Modris Kruminsh, 62, on the road on the northbound side of the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua in the area of mile marker 5.2.

Kruminsh was declared deceased at the scene as a result of being struck.

The involved driver of a Ford F-150, which was found stopped in the middle lane of travel, remained at the scene.
