ROCHESTER - Frisbie Memorial Hospital announced recently that Judy Ouellette, Executive Director of Fund Development, will also oversee the hospital’s Community Relations department.
As Executive Director of Fund Development, Ouellette manages multiple annual fund-raising events, including the “Celebrating our Community Healthcare Champions” event in the spring and the Auxiliary Golf Tournament in the summer, where all proceeds are used to support Frisbie’s patient care services, such as the Patient Transportation and Medication Assistance Programs.
Ouellette will be expanding outreach efforts to communities within the Greater Rochester area, and will continue to seek opportunities to partner with organizations that help advance Frisbie’s mission. In October, Frisbie will partner with The Homemakers Health Services to host the annual Senior Health and Wellness Expo on October 24 at the American Legion in Rochester.
According to Al Felgar, President and CEO at Frisbie, “Adding Community Relations to Judy’s Executive Director responsibilities made sense. It’s really an extension of what she is already doing: going out and informing the community about what’s going on at Frisbie and developing relationships. She has strong associations with many Rochester community leaders, businesses and residents.”
