ROCHESTER - Wallace J Dugan Jr. (Hudson - Wally), 66, of Rochester passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20,2013, at the Hyder Hospice House in Dover with family at his bedside

He was born in Rochester in May 1947 and resided in Strafford County for most of his life.

He was known by many for his management of service stations he worked at in the Strafford County area.

He retired in 2004; in his spare time he did metal recycling. He also enjoyed coin collecting.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dugan, of Rochester, son, Wallace J Dugan III and wife Heather Dugan of Milton, son, Michael Dugan of Rochester, stepson Robert Jerome of Portland, Maine.

He also leaves eight grandchildren; Kylie Dugan, Wallace J. Dugan IV, Cory Dugan, Brittney Dugan, Jacob Dugan, Lucas Parsons, Angel Jerome, and Alex Jerome; two great-grandchildren, Dominic and Alexiia; a sister Elaine Freeman of Somersworth, and a half-brother, Thomas Dugan of Massachusetts, a half-sister, Patricia Garretson of Maine, as well as many nieces and nephews, and longtime friend Donald Kimball of Rochester.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace J Dugan Sr., his mother, Dorothy Rowe (O'Leary); and a brother, John Dugan.

He was known for his sarcasm and sense of humor. He was known by many and liked by all. He will be greatly missed.
