MILTON MILLS - Delia (De) Carswell, 58, of Milton Mills, died October 29, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was eased into the arms of angels by lifelong friend Linda Brown, after a very short, unexpected illness.
Born in Waterbury, Conn., on June 27, 1955, the daughter of Arthur and Lina (Marquis) Caron, she was educated in Biddeford, Maine.
De was self-employed for the last 12 years, as Delia's Professional Maid Service. Prior to that, she was employed with the former Textron in Farmington and Dover.
She was a doting wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. De was married to Robert Caswell on August 7, 1982. She was a caring and nurturing person, whose many talents included cooking, baking and making homemade crafts. She loved teaching her nieces and family how to sew and do crafts. One of her greatest passions was putting on the best Halloween costume parties. She became famous for her cake decorating skills.
De loved going camping with her family and she was legendary for her homemade gifts.
Survived by her husband of 31 years: Robert (Crash) Carswell, her daughter: Wendylee Cantara, grandsons: Ronnie and Gauge Cantara, 9 siblings: Roland and wife Debra Caron, Mike and wife Dena Caron, Jan and husband Steve Roberts, Joy and husband Dana Smail, Theresa and husband Mike Boucher, Ed and wife Lisa Caron, Paul and wife BJ Caron, Lisa and husband Mark Bossie, David and wife Chrissy Caron, father in law: Kippy and wife Diana Carswell, in-laws: Betty and husband Steve Peterson, Brian and wife Laurie Carswell, Ed Amerman and companion Bev, also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and hundreds of loving friends, whom she touched during her short life. She was predeceased by her parents, and in laws: Neil Carswell and Linda Amerman.
