ROCHESTER - O'Neil L. Michaud, 90, of Rochester passed away peacefully after a brief illness with his loving daughters by his side, at his home.

He was born on July 7, 1934, in Gonic, to Leon and Blanche (Tremblay) Michaud.

O'Neil spent much of his work career at Great Falls Products in Rochester, retiring as a sander and sheet metal fabricator for F.W. Morse in Somersworth.

He was a lifelong resident of the Rochester area and was involved with many groups and organizations. He was a 50-year member of the Rochester Elks, a member of the Catholic Foresters, Knights of Columbus (4th degree), he also served as a eucharistic minister and could also be found on Mondays counting the weekly church offerings at the Holy Rosary Church completing his task as a church collector. He was also a volunteer at The Rochester Manor, enjoying flowers and gardening as well as traveling and spending time with his family. O'Neil was not one to stay idle for long. He is loved deeply and will be missed by all that knew him.

O'Neil is predeceased by his wife Bernadette (Gendreau) Michaud and brother Walter Michaud. Survivors include his daughters Colette (Cecil) Guptill and Monique (Kenneth) Brown; grandchildren Alexander Brown, Douglas (Kathryn) Brown; great grandchildren Nicholas, Cameron and Alexis Brown; nieces, nephews and cousins.
