No charges forthcoming in pair of 202 traffic incidents

LEBANON - State Police investigating two Route 202 traffic incidents in Lebanon last week have determined no fault or driver error in either case.

The first mishap occurred on May 28 and involved a pickup truck rollover on Carl Broggi Highway (Route 202) near Stokewood Drive. A woman and lone occupant of the vehicle was partially ejected and transported to Frisbie with what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries.

The truck was totaled. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, officials said.

The hometown and age of the woman were not available.

State Police said today the accident was caused by road conditions.

Then on Friday a pair of stop lights were ripped from their support wires at the corner of Route 202 and Little River and Depot roads when a flatbed trailer carrying an excavator snagged them around 9 a.m.

The lights were repaired after several hours during which time temporary stop signs were put up and lights at Depot and Little River roads went to flashing red.

State Police today said the incident was "unintentional" and no charges would be forthcoming.
