ROCHESTER - The staff at the Rochester Public Library has announced the creation of a new program that aims to bring local writers together for ongoing collaborative sessions.
According to staff, the purpose of the program is to get writers together to work on their individual projects while surrounded by others for moral support. The group facilitator ran a similar group in the State of Washington to great success.
The sessions will be ongoing. Writers are encouraged to attend every first and third Thursday of every month from 10 a.m.-noon in the Rose Room, on the second floor of the Library.
Each session will include a 15-minute break for writers to socialize and share ideas. The library will provide light refreshments.
