CONCORD - Autopsy results released today indicate that a Nashua woman killed last week died of sharp force trauma to the neck.
The autopsy completed on Sunday by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Mitchell Weinberg also showed that the manner of death was homicide.
The body of Cynthia Toupin, 71, was found inside her home at 22 Auburn St. in Nashua on Nov. 4.
Jacob Abraham, the victim's grandson, was arrested in her death in Lowell, Mass., over the weekend. He was arraigned this morning as a Fugitive from Justice in Lowell District Court. Abraham waived formal extradition, and the court ordered he be held without bail pending transport to New Hampshire.
It is anticipated Abraham will be arraigned via video in Hillsborough County Superior Court - Southern District on Tuesday.
The investigation is ongoing and active.
