CONCORD - A Nashua man has been arrested in a fatal stabbing that occurred in Nashua early Tuesday.
Nashua police responding around 1:20 a.m. to multiple 911 calls from 4 Marshall Street found Evangelos Ioannou, 32, in the hallway suffering from apparent stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds.
Police say Joshua Shea, 31, of Nashua has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder for recklessly causing Ioannou's death with extreme indifference to the value of human life by repeatedly "stabbing and/or slicing Ioannou with a knife."
An autopsy conducted on Tuesday found that Ioannou's cause of death was multiple stab and incised wounds and the manner of death was homicide.
An arraignment is expected to be scheduled for Hillsborough County Superior Court Southern District today.
