More road, RR crossing projects on the way next week

ROCHESTER - Two new road constructions projects will begin in the city next Monday.

First, New Hampshire Northcoast will be performing work on the railroad crossing at Wakefield Street/Milton Road, just north of the Chestnut Hill Road Connector intersection. Two lanes of traffic will be kept open as much as possible; however, the construction work may require brief road closures at times. Work is anticipated from Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Also on Monday work crews will be paving certain portions of Estes Road between Washington Street (Route 202) and Walnut Street (Route 202A). Paving work is expected to continue for 1-2 weeks between the hours of 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.
