LEBANON - Organizers of the Miss Lebanon contest say they still don't have enough contestants in at least some of the categories to hold the competition.
Selectman Laura Bragg, who is heading up the effort, said they're still looking for contestants between the ages of 5 and 19 to compete for the title of Miss Lebanon and have an honorary spot in Lebanon's 250th birthday parade on July 1.
The contest will comprise three divisions:
Little Miss Lebanon ages 5 - 9
Jr. Miss Lebanon ages 10 - 14
Miss Lebanon ages 15 - 19
Girls must be residents of Lebanon and will be judged on stage presence, talent and private interviews. Each division will need at least three competitors in order to hold the contest. The winners in each division will ride in the 250th anniversary parade on July 1 at 10 a.m.
The competition to determine the winners will be held on June 25 at the Grange Hall on Little River Road.
