MILTON - You might say something is brewing in Milton, and it will perk later this summer.
The first of Milton Crossing's tenants, a Dunkin' Donuts, is expected to be up and running sometime between the middle and end of August, according to the developer in charge of the project.
The coffee icon will open at the southern end of the mini-mall right next to Cumberland Farms.
The Dunkin' Donuts will have full amenities, including restrooms, eat-in seating, Wi-Fi and a drive-up window, according to developer Danny Bouzianis of Scarboro, who owns a couple of Dunkin' Donuts in the Portland area as well.
The colonial-style mini-mall will hold just three retail outlets, down from the five-to-seven originally planned, said Bouzianis, who declined to name any other potential tenants given the confidential nature of negotiations.
He said the two other tenant spaces would have square footage slightly larger than the Dunkin' Donuts space.
The mini-mall will sit on property which was the showroom and boat storage pods of the former Ray's Marina.
Bouzianis has developed similar projects in North Berwick and Waterboro.
Heavy landscaping to make the plaza aesthetically pleasing is planned for the front, which borders on White Mountain Highway.
