Milton woman nabbed in shoplifting incident

ROCHESTER - A Milton woman was arrested on Tuesday in a shoplifting incident at a Rochester drug store

Cortney Alessi, 22, of 492 White Mountain Hwy was charged with willful concealment after an incident at the Walgreen’s at 104 S. Main St.

Willful concealment is a Class B misdemeanor.

Alessi was released on $1,500 PR bail and is scheduled to appear for arraignment on July 15 at the 7^th Circuit – Rochester District Court. 

The Rochester Police would like to remind the public that shoplifting will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and that accordingly RSA 637:3-a (g)  states a person who has been twice convicted of Shoplifting (637:3-a II) within a 36 month period shall be charged with a Class B Felony.
