MILTON - A Milton man was indicted last month on heroin possession charges by a Strafford County grand jury.

Michael Francis, 24, of 15 Liberty Circle, was charged with possession of heroin back on July 16.

Francis has a previous conviction for heroin possession from March 2011 out of Rockingham Superior Court.

In the latest case he faces Class A felony charges punishable by imprisonment of anywhere from 7½-15 years and up to a $50,000 fine.

 An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to move forward with a trial.
