Maxine H. York ... longtime GE worker

ROCHESTER - Maxine H. York, 86 years, of Rochester, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at Clipper Harbor in Portsmouth, N.H.
Maxine was born June 14, 1929, in Rochester, N.H., a daughter of Walter and Katherine (Carty) Hussey. She graduated High School in Somersworth, N.H., and worked for many years at General Electric in Somersworth. She enjoyed reading, Bingo, sewing and collecting dish sets. Maxine enjoyed helping friends and family. After retiring from General Electric, she worked part time at Walmart.
Maxine is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Cathy A. Carty of Rochester, N.H.; her sons, Tom York of Rochester, N.H., James York and his wife, Traci, of Durham, N.H., and Stephen York and his wife, Carol, of Ackworth, Ga.; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
