CONCORD - A Manchester man pleaded guilty on Wednesday in connection with distribution of fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Victor Rosario, 30, pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of fentanyl, one count of felon in possession of a firearm, and one count of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorneys Office. U.S. District Court Judge Joseph Laplante scheduled sentencing for Oct. 11.
Between December 2023 and January 2024, on four occasions Rosario sold fentanyl to an individual who was cooperating with the Manchester Police Department. During the fourth sale, Rosario also sold the cooperating individual an AK-style rifle. When law enforcement searched Rosario's residence and vehicle on Jan. 17, they found more drugs, including more than 300 grams of fentanyl and more than 1,000 grams of cocaine.
The charge of drug distribution and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances provides for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release and a fine of up to $1 million. The charge of felon in possession of a firearm provides for a sentence of up to 15 years in prison, up to three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000.
