SOMERSWORTH - The Somersworth Police announce the arrest of a Northwood man for two counts of Reckless Conduct with a Firearm and Criminal Threatening with a Firearm.
On Nov. 4 the Somersworth Police received a report from a motorist who was on West High Street and reported that he was involved in a motor vehicle incident where the other driver threw
something at his vehicle.

He confronted the other driver who pointed a pistol at him and reportedly threatened to shoot him. The reporting motorist responded to the Police Department a short time later after discovering a bullet hole in his truck. The subsequent investigation identified Anthony Dorn as the other driver involved in the incident. As a result of the subsequent investigation, Dorn was arrested last Thursday and charged with Reckless Conduct with a Firearm and Criminal Threatening with a Firearm.

He was arraigned in the 7th Circuit Court - Dover District Division on Friday and held on preventative detention pending a probable cause hearing.
Thankfully, no one was injured as a result of this incident.
We would like to encourage motorists that are involved in an incident on the roadways to report the
incident to the local Police Department instead of engaging another motorist in a confrontation to avoid
escalating an incident further.
Anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to contact the Somersworth Police
Department directly at 603-692-3131, or you can leave an anonymous tip by phone at 603-692-9111 or online
