ROCHESTER – Police say a man was beaten and robbed early this morning while walking through the Hanson Pines, a swath of park land near the high school next to the Cocheco River.
The victim reported that he was walking on a trail through the Pines when he was jumped by two unknown males around midnight.
He said the two men punched and kicked him.
The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident, police said.
During the course of the assault the men robbed the victim of his laptop and wallet, according to police.
