ROCHESTER - A Lafayette Street man was arrested on Friday and charged with felony assault in an incident that occurred on Academy Street the previous day.
Albert Crement, 56, of 22 Lafayette St., was charged with second-degree assault for allegedly choking a person in the early hours of Thursday.
Crement's bail was set at $2,500 personal recognizance pending a September arraignment in Rochester District Court.
Second degree assault is a Class B felony punishable by up to 3 ½ to 7 years in state prison.
