ROXBURY - A Keene man was arrested Wednesday in a July assault where he allegedly used a 3D-printed weapon that left another man injured.
Police got involved around 2 p.m. on July 22, when they responded to a report of an assault at the Otter Brook Dam in Roxbury. Upon arrival, Troopers located an adult male suffering from serious injuries.
Troopers immediately began investigating the case and determined that the assailant had used 3D-printed knuckles that resembled brass knuckles in the assault and took a backpack from the victim before fleeing the scene, according to a Dept. of Safety press release.
On Wednesday Keene Police executed an arrest warrant and took Joshua K. Abrams, 35, of Keene, into custody on charges of second degree assault and robbery.
Abrams is expected to be arraigned in Keene District Court today and is currently being held on preventative detention.
Anyone with additional information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Trooper Paul Bergeron at (603) 358-3333 or Paul.J.Bergeron@dos.nh.gov.
