DOVER - Lucille Morris, 89, died on June 18, 2024, at Lodges Care Center, in Sanford, Maine, following a period of failing health.
Born Jan. 30, 1935, in Quincy, Mass., she was the daughter of Charles and Marion (Walker) Morris.
Lucille had worked as a secretary for the State Department in Washington, as well as foreign service in a number of countries around the world, for many years. She loved music and art, and was a lifelong Baptist, and had been a member of Grace Baptist Church in East Rochester, for many years.
Members of her family include her two nephews Christopher and Eric Thielen of Santa Clara, Calif.
She was predeceased by her sister Marjorie A. Thielen.
