ROCHESTER - Linda A. Stevens, 77, died on Saturday Dec., 28, 2024, at her home following a brief illness.
Born Aug. 31, 1947, in Arlington, Mass., she was the daughter of Alden and Ella (Swanson) Trulson.
Linda had worked as a secretary for UNH and later worked as a substitute teacher for the City of Rochester, and before her retirement she was the administrative assistant for the Spaulding High School music department.
Linda was an active member of the First Church Congregational of Rochester, where she served several years as a Deacon. She loved working at the church's food booth at the Rochester Fair and was a member of the choir. She was also very active in the Spaulding High School music program. She was Assistant Director for the Masque & Dagger Drama Club, where she judged auditions and helped backstage with set changes and stage props for their spring productions. Above all else Linda loved spending time with her family and friends, and the occasional bus ride down to visit the 2 casinos in Connecticut.
Members of her family include her children Craig Stevens and wife Jodi of Rochester; and Glenn Stevens and wife Laura Michele of Franklin, Mass.; her stepgrandson Michael Dorley, Jr; her sister Janyce Forsberg and husband Donald of Laconia; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul R. Stevens in 1985.
