COPYRIGHT2017© DOVER - A Lebanon woman pleaded guilty to amphetamine possession during a plea and sentencing hearing today at Strafford County Superior Court.

Mandy L. Campbell, 37, of 369 Milton Mills Road, was arrested in Dover, N.H., on July 4, 2016, for allegedly being in possession of both heroin and amphetamines. The heroin charge was dropped due to its improper seizure, said Assistant County Attorney Emily Conant.

Today's plea deal resulted in a 12-month sentence in the Strafford County Jail, all suspended for two years.

Campbell will stay free as long as she is on good behavior, takes a drug evaluation within 60 days and complies with all order given by corrections personnel.

Campbell could have faced up to seven years on the amphetamine charge.
