NORTH BERWICK, Maine - A Lebanon teen died early Monday morning in a single-car crash in North Berwick.
Police responded to the scene around 4:40 a.m. in the area of Beech Ridge Road near Diamond Hill Road where they found a Ford Focus had left the road and struck several trees.
Officers found Xavier Skidds trapped inside. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and asking anyone who saw it to contact the police department.
North Berwick Fire and Rescue and police officers from South Berwick also responded to the crash.
