LEBANON - A Lebanon teenager was indicted this month on six felony charges in connection with a vandalism spree last fall on Bigelow Road in which while on a drunken rampage the freshly turned 18-year-old broke into or did damage to a dozen different vehicles, police said.

Michael Drapeau, of 46 Bigelow Road, is charged with two counts of criminal mischief, two counts of burglary of an unlocked motor vehicle, one count of aggravated criminal mischief and one count of theft in the January indictment handed down by a York County grand jury.

Drapeau, who turned 18 on Oct. 13, went on his alleged one-man crime spree less than two weeks later, on Oct. 26, said Maine State Trooper David Coflesky, who said Drapeau was drunk when he went up and down the road slashing tires, breaking into vehicles and taking property out of some of them.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to move forward with a trial.
