Lebanon motorcyclist, 36, killed in head-on River Road collision

LEBANON, Maine - A 36-year-old Lebanon man died on Saturday when his motorcycle crashed head-on into another vehicle on River Road.

The accident occurred around 2:45 p.m. in the area of 713 River Road when a 2000 Jeep Wrangler collided with a 1982 Suzuki motorcycle that had drifted into the Jeep's path, according to a statement sent out by York County Sheriff William King on Saturday.

As a result of the crash Jordan Stacey was pronounced deceased at the scene, He was not wearing a helmet.

Early indicators from the investigation suggest that Stacey's motorcycle drifted into the oncoming lane as he entered a corner on River Road and was met head on with the Jeep operated by Amanda Ott, 36, from Lebanon, according to King.

Also in the Jeep was Ott's husband, Stephen, 41, who suffered minor injuries. Amanda Ott was transported to a nearby hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.
