Lebanon man arrested for DUI, reckless driving in three-vehicle Eastside crash

EAST ROCHESTER - A Maine man was arrested for DUI and reckless driving this morning after his car collided with vehicles as he tried to pass one of them.

The crash occurred around 6:35 a.m. near the intersection of Eastern Avenue when police say Justina Ridley, 29, of Rochester, was operating a Dodge Durango east on Highland Street in front of another vehicle.

Police say a Kia Rio, driven by Jayden Parlin, 20, of Lebanon, Maine, was behind the Durango when he passed the Durango on a double yellow line, colliding with it as he tried to pass. The Kia then collided with another vehicle, a Toyota Corolla operated by David Murphy, 58, of Springvale, Maine, which was traveling west.

Nome of the drivers were injured.

Parlin was arrested on the following charges: DUI, reckless driving, following too closely and a highway markings violation.
