Lebanon, Maine, man cited in East Rochester rollover

EAST ROCHESTER - A Lebanon, Maine, man was cited in a New Year's Day crash that caused the vehicle he ran into to roll over onto its side.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Salmon Falls Road and Highland Street around 4:45 p.m. when police say a Honda Fit, operated by David Long, 31, of Rochester, was traveling on Salmon Falls Road when it was struck by a Chevy Cruze, operated by Teigan Cole, 21, of Lebanon, who was traveling on Highland Street.
The impact caused the Honda to flip on its side. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.
When emergency personnel arrived on scene all occupants were out of their vehicles and unharmed, Rochester Police Capt. Todd Pinkham said today.
As a result of the accident, Cole was issued a citation for a red light traffic violation.
