LEBANON - The final 23 CMP customers in Lebanon who were still without power Saturday got their lights back on by midmorning, according to a CMP spokesperson.
Gail Rice of CMP said outages in Lebanon peaked at around 2,722 on Monday and were under 1,000 by Thursday.
She added there were a few lingering outage calls left in Lebanon that appear to be individual customers whose outages are related to their own service cable. Those outages could continue for a while longer.
At 10 p.m. Saturday, fewer than 15,000 homes and businesses remained without service statewide. More than 470,000 customers lost power at least once during the event or in the following days. At the storm's peak on Monday, more than 405,000 customers were without power, surpassing the impact on customers from the 1998 Ice Storm.
Meanwhile, damage assessments are still being tallied as the state moves forward with a disaster declaration effort that could aid in claims not covered by insurance.
